Hi!
Pars interarticularis is the part of vertebra lying between the articular processes of the facet joints of the vertebra. A break in the pars interarticularis between L5, S1 Level usually indicates spondylosis between L5-S1. This is age related degeneration. Sometimes the break is due to a fracture. Do discuss this with your doctor. Take care!
