hell after myelogram

It is now 5 days following CT Myelogram. During the proceedure, my sciatic nerve at l4-l5 was hit by the needle. I have been in severe pain since. MY Dr gave Diludid 2mg 4x aday which isn't scratching it. The initial reason for the test and the EMG, which was 2 days ago, also excruciating, waw increasing back/leg pain over last few mo. My anterior approach l3-l5 fusion was performed 5/00.

Has anything like this happened to anyone else? I cannot find any similar cases online.

I had a CT Myelogram 1/20/09 for cervical problems and it caused immediate lower back/butt pain during the test. They said the dye probably irritated the nerves. Now its almost five months later and I still suffer the same pain daily. I'm taking Tramadol, Norflex, and Flexeril and it doesn't make it stop. I really hope you don't suffer the same. Hopefully it is only the nerves acting up and it'll soon go away. Good Luck.
