kyphotic curve

kyphotic curve

hi

just bit bout me my name is chris i am 25 years old

now for the past two years i have had constant back problems only over the past 9 months have i now begun to do soimething about it. i currently have a very noticable curve at the kyphotic area of my spine which causes my lumber to also curve inwards. i have had the kyphotic curve measured and it currently comes at 51 degrees now the dr has adviced this is the high end of normal and i have nothing to woory about but i was also measured 9 mnths ago and was 47 degress at this point, now i was advise that this would not progress due to age but every day it seems to get worse and worse, its even bad to the point where i cannot pick up my 5 mnth son which can be quite upsetting.

i am now starting to give up as all my doctors and the nhs have advised there is nothing they can do i feel like im been brushed off.

i have discussed this with both i chirpractor and a private surgeoen who both seem to think i have thoracic kyphosis,

i need help with what to do next as i have tried braces, muscle balancing physio and all the exercises u can think off. iv researched quite alot online and i feel after everything iv tried the only thing left seems to be surgery, but what can i do if my doctors will not help me. iv had 2 years of exercises and physio and its getting worse.

please please help.

thank you

I'm sorry for ur pain hun, ur story with docters is not an uncommon one unfortunately. Get 3rd and 4th opinions from different docters. Keep me posted. Sounds like ur doing all u can to halt and reverse the progress of what u have. It will help while u search out other dr's. Plz don't give up...there IS a light at the end of ur tunnel, u just may not have gone far enough to see it!! *hugs*
