left mid to lower back and side pain

left mid to lower back and side pain

Last weekend I went to the ER because I had severe pain under my left breast. The doctor did many tests but did not find anything. Throughout the week the pain seemed to have gotten worse and shifted to my left mid to lower back and side. I feel a lot of pressure. I have not been having any urination problems so I don't think it involoves my kidneys but not sure. Along with this pain I have been very nausiated and feeling fatigued. I have also had episodes of disorientation at times. I apparently can't get any answers from any doctors around here so if anyone can give me their insight on this it would be nice.

Hi there!

Since you have already been to the ER, I would assume that serious issues related to the heart, pancreatitis etc., have already been ruled out. Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. While nausea, fatigue are vague symptoms, with pain under the breast, issues like gastritis, chest wall inflammation, costochondritis, pleuritis, lung infections, etc may need to be considered. With mid-lower back pain, genito-urinary issues, spinal/ neuro-muscular causes may need to be evaluated for as well. It would be best to have this evaluated in detail by a primary care physician or an internist. After a cause is diagnosed, this can be managed accordingly.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
