I had bilateral stents in my iliac arteries in October 2010. Since then my mobility has worsened, 4 days ago I could not feel my right thigh there was a numbness deep within now this has progressed to my left leg and stretches from my waist to my knees. the numbness is concentrated at he back until my legs, now tonight its like some one is applying pressure right in the middle of my spine, Any ideas whats going on?
Hi,sorry to know it
It is a common misconception that back pain or paralysis always stems from the pressure of a slipped disc or a trapped nerve. This is misleading, the main cause of pain or paralysis is inflammation stimulating nerves, causing the pain signal.even MRI show nothing.
MRI seems not too bad,but it isn't means nothing,"middle back like having a TENS machine on me permanently"--very important information, perhaps you probably suffer from soft tissue inflammation in middle and lower back, which can lead to very tensive tissue, tnen conductible pain down to leg......
I quote a case from my blog for you:acupuncture.blog.co.uk
