lower back pain cat scan results

Hello,  I'm new here but would like to ask the community a question.  I just got the results of my CAT Scan and it says at the level of L3-4 3mm right infraforaminal disc bulging is noted and there in tsays there is morerate right neuroforaminal narrowing and final it says there is mild bilateral facet hypertrophu at the level of L4-5.

Could someone explain this in English for me and also what are my treatment options.  i've been treated with meds for chronic back pain for the last 5 years and thought about implanting a neurotransmitter.  Would that be wise or is there other treatments besides pain medications and going on disability.  I can't sit more than a few minutes and cant stand more than a few minutes.  I feel like i've lost my life and forgot who I really was;

The first part about the narrowing is usually a way they write their findings when arthritis is present. The L4-5 issue, depending on how severe the pain is, might require a fusion surgery. Other treatments that might help would be myofacial release therapy and a good chiropractor may be able to give you some relief. Best wishes!

The words mild and moderate don't seem to match the amount of pain you are experiencing.  I would see a neuro and get an MRI of my brain and spine.  I have MS and the main symptom was a horrid backache...like an exposed nerve in my lower back.  It never matched what the doctors were telling me...a little of this or a little of that...

Thank you for your comment.  i'm going to speak to my family doctor and see if she can point me in the right directions on which specialist to see.
