Hi there!

Backache during the early phase of pregnancy could occur due to ligament laxity under the effect of hormonal changes and is expected to better in the following weeks. You could also try exercises such as swimming or pre-natal yoga, which could possibly help with the pain.
Hope this helps.

Take care!

Hi!
Well yes, pregnancy hormones do make your joints, muscles and lower body relax to accommodate the growing baby and prepare for its delivery. This can cause a persistent low back ache, which can worsen if you sit, stand or lie down in a particular position for too long. A backward tilted or retroverted uterus can put pressure on your spine and hips and cause a lot of pain. It can also be due to threatened abortion, pelvic inflammatory disease, constipation and gas. Hence, if the pain is persisting and affecting your day, please consult with your doctor immediately. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
