lower back pain

Hi I was curious, I have lower back pain and i have been dealing with it for 7-8 years with serious pain.
right now i see a chiropractor. my moving is getting better but my muscle spasms still come back and shooting pain down my legs. I used to take darvocet for the pain and it help me to do everyday things without the pain. however after a year or so my doc had me on 2 100 mg of darvocet 4-6 hours and my pharmacy said it was to much and told the doctor,  so he just told me to quit taking it cold turkey. so I did and got sick as expected. then He sent me to a pain clinic and the did the shot thing in my lower back and gave me darvon (same thing as darvocet with no tylenol). Then that pain place were closing up, so they sent me to a young doctor at another clinic. who didn't do anything but looked  and noticed right away i had a limp.so to shorten the story they put me on 5/500 vicodin which was delivered to my house and told me to call them 7-10 day before meds ran low.I had to sign a opiate contract and stuff like that. I was in college at the time so I took half the dosage because of school work etc...
I called 28 days to refill the meds and the so-called medical assistant received my message but forgot to call it in.
after about 2 more weeks i ran out and no new meds ever came to my house. she said she called them in but the were out and forgot to call back. so i got sick again and that was it for me, no more drugs needles etc..
i have TENS; UNIT,  5 other back pads, relaxors. well I'm back where I started with worse pain and gained weight do to decreased activity and age.  so is there anyone out there with home remedies, witch doctors etc... this is literally a pain in my a**,  lol

I also seen 6 back docs, 8 mri's and many xrays, they all said i have a problem.
