neck pain that causes headaches

I had a fusion on c3,4 & 4,5.  I hurt constantly and conservitive treatment doesn't work.  My doctor called me a faker because nothing worked.  He doesn't want to hear about it anymore.  I am seeing a surgeon in august but I feel like I am going to hit a dead end again.  I am giving up what do I do.

    First of all, don't give up! Maybe you should be referred to a pain management specialist? My ortho sent me to a pms and he implanted a spinal cord stimulator in my back; I get about 90% relief from the scs on the targeted area. I still have a lot of pain, but the worst pain is now under control. I researched the scs a lot prior to trying it and new immediately during the trial how much it helped. When I was researching I read a lot of cases like yours where the patients had the scs put in to control the pain from failed surgical procedures. You might look into it as an option. My scs was made by Medtronics and you can google them to find out more. Good luck.
