Yes, Teresa. Headaches are common. I have them all the time. They are horrible, too. I mostly have it on the left side of my body. It feels like my nerve is being pinched right along with a throbbing headache. I was also told my C5 and C6 disk are wearing down. So I got neck pain, headaches, shoulder pain, leg pain, and tenderness. I just started back working (because of this economy, not because of my back pain), and I swear I am in the worst pain ever. I can not sit up straight, in the same spot, for too long. Even when I'm leaned against a pillow in bed or on the sofa, my back and neck aches. I stay in pain!! I'm not one to sit on my behind and collect disability or unemployment when I don't have to, but I think issues like the ones we have is deserving of disability.
Did they call the arthritis spondylosis? Who diagnosed you, primary doctor? Do you have test results that you can post?
Yes, many of us with Cervical Arthritis or similar problems also suffer from headaches. Some folks deal with it by taking medications and others have a difficult time controlling the headache. I take a daily dose of Omega-3 supplements (fish oil) for my cholesterol, but found a side benefit that it stopped the migraines I was getting and reduced regular headaches. Good luck!
