numbness and tingling

I am having a lot of trouble, I don't know if it is related to my back, but my shoulders ache a lot, and then my forearms started "falling asleep" when I lie on my side. Then my knees got swollen, and, worst yet, the bottom of my foot fell numb, and won't get back to normal. I went to an "ask the Dr" site, and paid $35 for a foolish answer, now I am trying here. Anyone? Thanks.

I sounds like you have a nerve pinched somewhere. I would go get an mri done of you back so they can see where/what is pinching it. There is a chart on my profile that shows the nerves and what they control. The numbness, tingling feelings are a sign of the nerves being damaged. This can lead to permanent damage so please go get it checked soon. Best of luck to you.
