pain and drs

why do doctors give u pain medicines?  then call u drug addict, why don't doctors have time for u ? Why do they give u the run around? i have ddd-degenrated disc disease, herniate disc, spine stenosis,all call chronic low back pain, i been like this for about twenty some years, still can't get no help, all i get is pain pill, then a doctor call me a drug addict. and all i want is for them to fix my back

They give you pain meds. because you need them but don't want to monitor it constantly. If your getting them from your PCP or a pain management it makes a difference. Your not a drug addict you are dependent on opiates and there is a difference but the same result as far as symptoms go. They give you the run around because they don't know what to do. They don't have time for you because of the next patient. You must have patience to see someone who practices their job.Hahahah. When you have had enough of that and you take matters in your own hands then you will be called a doctor shopper. No one is going to fix your back, just look at my x-ray and after 8 neck surgeries it still isn't fixed. I also have been dealing with this for 25 years.

Where do you live? How old are you? What do you do? Have you had MRI's and what do they say?

I hope this isn't to depressing just the truth from where I see it.

this thing u have..when u lay down does your back lock up on u? cuz for a few years now i've had bad pain in my lower back...and when i lay down on my back and go to get up my back locks up on me. so i have to lay on my side. i'd like to know what it is. and what medicines might help the pain. but could i have whatever it is you have???
