2 surgeries L4 L5 S1.  Possibly looking at a 3rd with rods and pins. Degenerative disk as well.  I'm having issues with pain in my left butt cheek that's almost unbelievable. Any pro's and con's anyone willing to share ?  I'm 3 months post op with my last one and I don't want to continue to take the pain killers.  Doc wants to wait and "play it out" for a month or so. Epi shots suggested also.  I've had them in the past with a series of 3 that didn't work.

what kind of surgery did you have?
and as far as playing it out. my DR says it could take up to a year to fully heal, for a fusion
if this is what you had done....did you get a mri yet?
