pinched nerve and blackouts.

I am 17 years old and 5 years ago my 250 pound brother fell on my back causing sever pain. The year before this I we wrestling around and messed up my neck to the point that i couldn't turn my head left. after my brother fell on my though I stretch my left arm up with out the left side of my body going numb and me falling to the floor. I slowly regained the ability to reach the top shelf of the cupboards with my left hand.Until two years ago when I decided to take yoga at my high school. I pushed myself to far while rotating. After that i again couldn't reach the cereal bowls with my left arm for several months. After the yoga experience things go worse. Every now and then I'll start to feel dizzy and light headed. Then I'll feel like my whole body is tingling like its asleep the it feels like the it's burning from under the skin and my site goes. While I'm sweating my heart rate feels like it increases and I start freaking out. I'm then in complete darkness and my hearing slowly goes and i black out. I'm usually with some one and wake up where ever they put me, its only happened once when i was alone and sometimes I end up puking when i wake up. its been like this since then and less often now the last time was October. Now its changed though. today when taking notes in class my shoulder slowly started hurting more and more than my upper back then left arm went numb and started feeling like it was on fire. I felt the stinging pain increase and disappear then come back stronger for the next period until i felt like puking from the pain and light headed. i finally laid on the floor during English sick of it and realized the pain didn't return while laying down i have been trying to lay down since an talking to other people with similar symptoms i have been told it is from a pinched nerve what do you think? some one told me to use nsaid pain killers what do you think?
