posterior central disc protrusion at L4-L5 level producing moderate central canal narrowing affecting traversing L5 nerve roots

Hi,

I am 27 years old. I have been suffering from low back pain. While walking i get lot of pain in my hips, legs. I cant walk far. My MRI report shows- posterior central disc protrusion at L4-L5 level producing moderate central canal narrowing affecting traversing L5 nerve roots. sclerotic marrow changes along vertebral endplates. What is the treatment for this? Please help me. Surgery is the only solution? I cant walk for five mintutes. I get so much pain in my hips and legs. What is the solution and can i go for my work after treatment?
