prescription narcotics

   Too little too late may be my end.  My better half has been taking KADIAN, Topomaw and Lexapro for the past 2 years to alleviate chronic back pain and depression associated with the pain. She has been seeing a pain treatment DR who has prescibed these meds for her, the real concern is our family life, in the past year she has started seeing a counselor for her depression issues  and has made some very radical changes in her personality ,the way she dresses, her choice of friends{ meeting internet connections} demeanor towards our child and last but not least filing for divorce.. There was a period around 6mths ago when she was not taking the Topomax (topamax) and seemed to be much more even keeled except for persistant migraine headaches, which seem to  tolerable with Advil cold and sinus tablets.  When she started the Topomax (topamax) again no one seemed to be able to get along with her.   She has moved out and claims to be happy, although she has been sick several times  during this separation.   I would do anything possible to help her and save our marriage. Am I reading to much into the medicine and their side effects and what can I do
