problem with neck spasm

Hi.My name is Elmin and I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina..and i have one question about problems with neck. 3 years ago my father has painful neck,he was do some massage and it adulterate when his neck started to wrap to left side, but the pain disappeard, he is able to keep straight but with effort and doctores diagnosied "neck spasm" He used many medicals and other threatment but without successed.... PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE ABOUT THIS PROBLEM

I am confused by the meaning of adulterate. I know it means to add something impure but what exactly did the massage therapist do? I do not know much about what could be wrong with your dad. It may be helpful if you explain what the person doing massage did that helped or made the problem worse for his neck and list any test ( example mri, or ct scan )  that were done. I hope your dad finds the help he needs. Best wishes.
