restless legs

well it's been 3 weeks since my interbody fusion. i've been noticing my legs have been very irritable or restless to where it's making my onery and to where i have to get out and walk a spell. is this one of the side effects from the post op surgery.or my body in it's recovery mode

I don't recall having any problems with RLS when I was recovering from my lumbar fusion, it probably has something to do with the nerve regenerating or readjusting.

There's is a medication that's used for that, its a Parkinson's Disease drug but one of the off label uses is for treating RLS, I just can recall the name. You could probably find it on a search if your interested. And there's also the bars of soap under the sheets method, but that's generally for people that have problems with RLS when their trying to sleep.
