revision fears

ten years ago i herniated l-4 l5and had three lamonectomies before finally having a fusion a few years later.i thought i was out of danger until one year later when i was told i need another fusion at l3 l4 and that i had degenerative disc disease.after a fifth sugery i had about six months of only minor pain before i started feeling horrible pain.my surgeon says my fusion is unstable and i may need another surgery.also there is some changes in l5 s1.  i'm really scared about getting a revision fusion.can you give me any information that may help me improve my pain level?i can't sleep and my muscle spasms are crippling.i am no longer able to walk and am wondering if my inactivity is contributing to my pain level.
