s curve scoliosis 32 male

hello all,
Im a 32 year old male and I was diagnosed with s curve scoliosis. My upper curve in the  thoracic is 16 and in my lumbar spine its 18 degrees. The chiropractor that diagnosed me had me get a flexible brace called spine core, which when i wear reduces the curve from 16 to 14 degrees and 18 to 10 degrees. I have been wearing this brace for six weeks and he gave me a follow up xray yesterday after tightening up the brace and the

..contd.. x ray showed no change. He told me at least it wasnt getting worse. My only question is , is this really get worse or Is this doctor making this scoliosis of mine seem worse than it really is...it was an expensive brace that im having  a hrd time getting compensated for it from my insurance. Im really frustrated and I hate wearing this..
