shoulder blade

I am male 57 and have had an ache between my shoulder blade for a week now ..I also have trouble swallowing food ,It often gets stuck if I don,t chew properlly...I don,t smoke ..but have drunk 10 to 12 cans of weak lager every night for years...can anyone suggest anything? Mick

It could be gall stones. I'm a super fit 27 year old male and I got them. I had extreme pain in my mid back and stomach at the same time. When I had a full blown attack it was so severe I could barely move. Other times it just lets me know when I've eaten the wrong thing. I get a bit of warning too, I'll get a feeling of mild anxiety and restlessness then pain. Does it come and go?
