spinal surgery with fusion.

i am 6weekspost op from L3,4,5,laminectomies and fusion. i have lower leg and feet numbness and still back pain. everyone has told me it is still early in my recovery. my numbness makes walking difficult. i see my surgeon this week. i don,t feel i am progressing as well as i should be. any help or suggestions? thanks mike
