stenosis

I have now got my second MRI were it says in C-5 C-6 there is right paracentral disc bulge causing mild flattening of the anterior thecal sac, mild left neural foraminal narrowing,and severe right neural foraminal narrowing..

My question for any medical person is.. will my Neuro Dr suggest surgery finally after 2yrs of burning pain in the base of my skull and neck that runs down the right side mostly, but has increased to both sides..?  (hot poker)
The last couple times i've seen him its like he could care less and it's no big deal.. mean while i've been on vicadin for 2 or more yrs and its just makin me suicidal I JUST CAN"T TAKE THE PAIN A MIN LONGER !!!!
