steroid shots

Just had seroid injections shots for stenosis)and back/leg pain) and numbness in my left leg.  I have a REALLY low tolerance of pain and had no anesthia or numbing drug before the injections. I have a great neurosurgeon and can honestly say he did not hurt me at all. I felt a quick pinch both times and that was it.  This morning my leg is no longer numb,but my feet have been freezing cold since the shots and today my cheeks are red and warm.  Hope the pain-free back and leg continues and the freezing goes away.  I called my dr. and he said it is normal for the flushed cheeks and cold feet from the steroid meds.  It will go away.
