surgey or not help with mri report

hello i guess i will start with my ongoing chronic back pain i have had for the last 5 years.i have been to every doctor in the last 5 yrs for my pain,ive been to physical therpy,primary doctor,vascular doctor,the list goes on,ive been to pain management for injections,many visits to the emergency room for pain off the charts,and no medication even touched the pain,my last visit i refused to leave without some answers,i was so scared,i didnot know what to do or think about ,but only the pain.pain manegt said i had ddd and fibromyalagia and all they can do was to treat the symptoms.well what the hell is fibromyalgia.they gave me information on it,did my research went to a mentalmhealth clinic to help me grasp all of this.well anyway i was not getting better,i insisted on a mri,and here are the findings,at l5s1 there is a moderate degree of disc statureloss there is loss of disc intensity indicative of disc desiccation.there is a large central to right paracentral focal disc protrusion which abuts and moderatley deforms the ventral aspect of the traversing thecal sac.an associated mild circumferential bulge of the annulus fibrosis causes a mild degree of bilateral neural femoral compromise.   impression LARGE CENTRAL TO RIGHT PARACENTRAL DISC PROTRUSION AT L5S1 CAUSING A MODERATE DEGREE OF AQUIRED CENRAL STENOSIS WITH MILD CIRCUMFERENTIAL BULGE OF THE ANNULUS FIBROSIS AT L5S1 CONTRIBUTING TO A MILD DEGREE OF BILATERAL NEURAL FORAMINAL COMPROMISE. MY DOCTOR SENTME    T O A NUERO,AND HE SAID SURGEY,BUT DID NOT REALLY TALK TO ME ABOUT MY DDD,SO AS ALWAYS LEFT ME EVEN MORE CONFUSED.NOW I AM WAITING FOR MY APPT WITH A ORTHO DOCTOR.SO NOW MY DOCTOR DOES NOT THINK I HAVE FIBOMYALGIA.I AM SO DONE WITH THIS,IT HAS CONSUMED MY LIFE,AND MY MENTAL STATE LOL, I AM SO SCARED OF SURGEY,AFRAID IT WILL OPEN UP A NEW CAN OF WORMS.BUT AGAIN I AM SO TIRED OF TAKING PAIN MEDS EVERYDAY TO KEEP MY PAIN LEVEL DOWN.I HAVE TRIED EVERY MED UNDER THE SUN,ANF FOUND I AM SENSTIVE TO ALOT OF THEM,ANTIDEPRESSANTS SHOULD BE BANNED.WHIICH SENT ME TO EMERGENCY ROOM WITH HORRIABLE SIDE EFFECTS,INCLUDING BIG HIVES AND NOT BEING ABLE TO BREATH.SORRY SUCH A LONG POST,I CAN GO ON FOREVER,WITH MY JOURNRY FROM HELL.ANY RESPONSE WOULD BE GREAT.THANYOU

I am sorry to hear that you are having such a rough time with it. My mom has RA and OA she has also for years been mis diagnosed. She was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Fibro ***** hope you dont have it. But it sounds like to the antidepressants that you had allergic reaction. But for the Pain try some herbal remabies my mom tried a lot of different ones. There are juices and vitamins and all sorts of different things. Maybe try going do to your local herb shop. And dont judge but with the pain that your in you could try medical marijuana. If used correctly you could be a lot happier and could take some pain away and its natural. Good luck keep us posted.

yes i do fibro also,but i dont use that word fibro because not many people believe in fibo,i dont even understand it my self.i do take some vitamins cq10 and vitamin d,which does not help much.so i pertain my pain to my back,in which people can relate.and yes allergic to antidepressants.in fact i am   sensative       to alot of meds.as far as medical maijuana goes,never  crossed my mind.i dont think my state even has it.
