That is a really excellent question to which I have no definitive answer.

It has been established that subjecting a healing fracture to mild stress encourages healing. There are, of course, "fractures" and "fractures". Vertebral fractures are a special animal. There is also a "window" in which healing must start.

I would consult your physician, who should evaluate your imaging to reasure you, you won't be transecting any nerve bundles.
