t-5 pain

2 years ago I was involved in a very serious MVA while at work(FIREFIGHTER PARAMEDIC). I was off duty for approx. 4 months and in therapy every day, along with taking pain pills and muscle relaxers. My symptoms were a burning pain up the left side of my neck,along with frequent head aches. Also a burning and cramping sensation in my upper back. No medication work to relieve the pain but steroid injections did. The shots lasted approx 1yr to the day and then the pain slowly returned. After several x-rays and MRI's with negative results the Dr. re- medicated me along with more injections,Absolutely no relief. They started me on a new med called lyrica and within 2 days my pain was only at the T-5 and T-6. Another set of injections was order two weeks ago to hit the T-5 root segment, again no relief. Now the DR. wants to inject Botox in the area that is hurting.


Is there any other test that can be done that might reveal what is causing this pain...
