thecal sac compression

HI I AM A 24 YR OLD MOMMY AND I HAVE HAD A FEW MRI'S DONE SINCE 2004 AND THE LAST ONE I HAD WAS IN 06 AND ON THE FINDINGS IT STATES CHANGES OF DEGENERATIVE    
DISEASE WITH MODERATE ANNULAR DISK BULGE @ L4-5 PRODUCING THECAL SAC COMPRESSION.
2. MINIMAL ANNULAR DISK BULGING L2-3,L3-4,AND L5-S1.
I HAVE BEEN TO A FAMILY DR BUT THEY SAY SINCE MY AGE IS SO YOUNG THEY CANNOT DO A THING WITH ME I AM EXPERIENCING LOSS OF FEELING IN MY L HAND AND CANNOT FEEL ANYTHING W THAT HAND ANY MORE AND THE PAIN IS SEVERE CAN SOMEONE PLZ HELP AND TELL ME WHAT I MIGHT BE ABLE TO DO THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ ALL OF THIS

The thecal sac is a hose-like sac made of dura (thick meninges) that is contained through most of the length of the spine. It contains the spinal cord, nerve roots, and cerebrospinal fluid.

i keep reading these stories of "because of my age"....i could care less how old or young you are when you have herniated discs, etc.........you need some kind of treatment!!!!    please go to a neurosurgeon or orthopedic surgeon....they are NOT JUST FOR SURGERY---so dont let that scare you. they only do surgery if its an emergency....and/or if conservative treatments doesnt work.  you should be put through physical therapy, given pain meds...and possible epidural steroid injections....if all of that fails...then they might talk surgery. i dont know or understand why some of these drs think age has something to do with anything....a disc problem is a problem at ANY age...and shouldnt be let go just because you are "young"!!  i mean gee...id much rather go through a surgery at 25...then have to go through one when im "OLD"....
