torso, neck, headache and eye pain

Thanks for reading as I am not sure where to post this. If this is the wrong place I am sorry.

Over the last 3 weeks or so I have had shoulder and neck pain in the afternoon.

This past Friday evening I became so tired that I could hardly keep my eyes open. When i got home a couple of hours later my entire torso front and back was in pain. My neck and shoulders hurt along with a headache in the rear of my head on both sides. I also have had a constant pain in my eyes when moving them.

Saturday subsided with some advil (I never, under any circumstances take pain meds) and I could get out of bed around noon or so. I had no energy to even fix myself something to eat.

Sunday is the same, but woken at 2:47 in the morning by the headache. could not sleep for any good length of time till I had enough at 7:30 to take some advil. Pain tonight (sunday) is mostly in my shoulders, neck, head and eyes.

Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include postural issues, infection, inflammations, traumatic injuries, degenerations, neuro-muscular issues, nutrient deficiencies, hormonal/ endocrine abnormalities etc. The eye pain could or could not be related to neck and shoulder discomfort. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician at your earliest convenience for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. Meanwhile you could try some OTC anti-histaminics or tylenol and see if these seem to help.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
