weard neck issue out of the blue???????????

by crambone, Nov 04, 2009 08:25PM
the other day for no reason i know of my neck started hurting me,,,and for the past five days it has remained in pain!
it was so bad i went to er,they did a ct scan with contrast and found nothing with the brain, neck or arterys, thats a good thing,,,but still it feels realy realy sore, vicodine and muscle relaxers do not help!
i feel kinda flush, and my throat seems a little tinder too.
they ruled out most everything except eningitis as i will not let them do a spinal tap.
i was told if it was eningitis though it would show up on the ct scan as inflamation (inflammation),and im not sick an any other way,no fever, chills,,,nothing.
what the heck would cause such a bad stiff/sore neck for no aparent reason out of the clear blue,,,,
THIS IS NOT A SORE NECK FROM SLEEPING WRONG PEOPLE!!!
possible artery inflamation (inflammation) or neck bone out of whack?...but wouldnt that too show up on the ct scan?
