I have seen my doctor about 8 months ago and i told him that i was feeling certain symptoms. I told him my entire back is hurting. I explained if i lay on my chest for more than 4 minutes or so and attempt to get up that my back feels like it will give out when i attempt to get up.I explained also that im having sensations of dizziness when i walk or even lay down. He stated that this was vertigoBenign positional vertigo Dizziness Vertigo Vertigo-associated disorders and to take some otc meds for it. He ran some blood work and at firstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 100 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 25 First-progesterone vgs 400 First-progesterone vgs 50 First-testosterone First-testosterone mc he said it showed signs of lupus. He sent me to a specialist and that doctor stated infact that I did not have this dx. I asked if i dont have it why would it show up on my blood work she said sometimes that happens. I still dont understand how that is possible.
My doctor ran a second set of bloodworks sometime back and said that it showed a lymph problem of some sort then ran it again and he said it was not present again it might have been an error. I dont understand how my blood work shows this many errors. Does anyone here have any ideas?
Also the dizziness is unbearable at times. I cant take my kids to amusement parks anymore because the dizziness is bad. An elevator ride is bad as well or seeing someone jump makes me dizzy.
Im 32 male smoke half a pack a day I weigh 167lbs and im 5'11.
Also my bones crack every time i move. My right arm hurts all the time because of an accident i had many years ago and had two surgeries but now my left arm is joining in the pain with constant cracking. To be honest my anklesAnkle pain Ankle sprain Ankle sprain - series Ankle sprain swelling Atopy on the ankles Foot, leg, and ankle swelling Lichen simplex chronicus on the ankle Sprained ankle are starting this as well.
I hope someone has an idea because even as i type i feel dizzy.
My doc said at one point it might be stress or depression. While i do have stress i dont feel that the bones cracking or dizziness is stress being that they are caused by other sources other than myself.
I am sorry to hear of your continued health problems. Did the doctor who saw you at the beginning do any diagnostic testing regarding your back pain? Baseline x-rays would show any possible structural changes of the spine which can produce symptoms such as low back pain. If x-rays were done, what were the findings?
It is difficult to assess how all of your symptoms might be inter-related given that the "cracking" seems to be occurring in several areas of your body.
Unless you have had some baseline radiology tests, I would hesitate to try and assess how much is related to your back.
Dizziness can be due to many factorsFactor ix complex and can include problems with the inner earEar barotrauma Ear discharge Ear emergencies Ear examination Ear tube insertion Ear tube insertion - series. Did your doctor determine it was vertigoBenign positional vertigo Dizziness Vertigo Vertigo-associated disorders based on testing or just a description of your symptoms? Anxiety and depression can contribute to feelings of dizziness, but if the dizziness is constant, could be more related to inner ear problems. Unfortunately, smoking can also be a contributing factor as it constricts the blood vessels and can worsen symptoms.
Blood tests do sometimes show false positives and retesting done to confirm a diagnosis is not routine, but not unusual in cases where there is some confusion regarding the outcome.
If the dizziness is your main complaint, it might be beneficial to obtain an ENT consult for a clinical exam.
Post again with an update and any additional questions/concerns you may have.
Best wishes ----
