why cant doctors HELP!!!!!

I have been healthy all my life and now I have lost a great amount of joy in my life, From being an athlete to barely making it out of the supermarket in alot of pain.  I will try to describe some of the pain, right now as I am typing  i feel like crying because I have pain behind my butt, thighs, lower back and hips, it is painfull and is a very hot feeling, when I walk my entire feet are in pain, not just the bottom of my feet but the top, the pain feels like its everywhere were ther is tendons and ligaments, in between my toes, the pain then travels upwards in my legs until it reaches my back. I had a full mri on my body and I had a "slight herniated disc in my lower back "  but i was told it wouldnt cause the pain i am having. I also had a spinal tap done. NOTHING!!!    What do doctors Know! or is it the fact that my insurance is not appealing,     can someone please tell me what kind of insurance I need for a doctor to see me as a patient and help me please! I will try to get that insuranceI. I know there are many people suffering of horrible things the only reason why I am so angry is because I know I can be fixed, I just need a doctor who actually has a heart and cares about his patient if that exists......I also wanted to ask what people think of gabapentin ?  I took this for a surgery I had done on my hand for 3 weeks which was what the doctor prescribed 600 or 800 mlg I noticed my body and nerves started acting very strangely after stopping the medication. please help..............

I take 1200 mg a day. When I quit taking it one time I felt terrible so I went back on it and feel great. I was told that in works as a mood stabilizer. As far as your back, I have DDD and multi level herniation's so I understand the pain and have trouble walking. You are right on getting a second opinion I have delt with Dr for 10 years and they are not all right. Good luck man
