I'm not a Dr. but I was rear ended almost a year ago, had physical injuries including stiff/sore neck and back, I'm still having problems.

Go straight to a Dr. don't wait, you need to be seen. Could be whiplash or something else but definitely see a Dr.

My pain got worse and worse as time passed. Good luck.

Hi!
If you were in a car wreck, have stiff neck and burning sensation down your spine, then please consult a doctor immediately. You could be having a bulging disc or a whiplash injury. It could be serious. If this is ruled out, then it could be a soft tissue injury and pinched nerves due to tense muscles. This would respond to pain medications, muscle relaxants and physiotherapy. However, please see a doctor first.Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
