I had a fusion done in May on #7 the lowest one,my arm pain started getting better then got worse,a new MRI showedthat two slightly buling disks were now bulging more.My doctor said to try cervical cortisone shots first is this just a temporary fix?My job requires that I lift 50 to 120 pound numerous times every day should I just get the surgury and should I seriously think about lighter work?
Considering more fusions in your neck is one option but not ideal. The coritsone injection is a goog suggestion but you should also consider a second opinion if your symtoms (symptoms) are not responding.
Sounds like a career change is a worthwhile consideration either way.
