Greasy hair..HELP! :(

Greasy hair..HELP! :(

Hey, I'm Hannah and i am 16. For the past 2 years my hair has gotten so bad that i need advice.
I have tried changing my shampoo 13 times. From shampoo for overly hydrated hair to shampoo to strip it from all the dirt i even stopped using conditioner for awhile. One time i tried like baby powder but nope no change. I wash my hair 1 day and skip the next day and so on..or sometimes everyday. My side bangs are the big issue. I have tried washing them separately, together, with different shampoo, with the same shampoo and i even stopped touching them. But they still separate, Look greasy and feel greasy. I don't understand it. I take such good care of my hair, i have never gone more then a whole day without washing it, i blow dry it, straighten it and try to keep my bangs from getting so gross. Anyone have any ways to get it not so gross?

Ever consider trying dry shampoo? You could use it to revive your hair in between washes when your hair gets limp from oil and product build up. Take a break from washing your hair everyday. It's actually dries out the hair and as a result your scalp is producing more oil because your always drying it out.

It could be too that you use too many products and that's what causes the greasy hair? Also you could try just sticking to one shampoo for normal hair and see if it doesn't get used to it. Sometimes we don't give our hair enough time to respond to products we introduce to it but instantly say it *****.

Hope this helps and good luck! :)

You may want to ask your doctor about this. You may have a hormonal imbalance. This is very common in teens and easily adjusted by a Dr.

During the day, try not to touch your hair or "play" with it. The natural oils (we all have it) from your fingers can transfer to your hair as your play with it or put it behind your ears. Try a bit of dry shampoo in this area to absorb the oils.

Good luck
