Hair coloring

I have always colored my hair, I now find I am allergic to the phenatimime that is in most hair colorants, I am having a hard time finding one with out it in, yesterday I checked out 3 drug stores all the colorants had this ingredient in them, any ideas of a hypo allergic colour I can use ? thanks

You could try the all natural hair dyes found in the health food stores. The "NATURAL" hair colors from a health food store have no peroxide & No ammonia..........but they will not lighten your hair. Those will only work if you are already blond, and then they will only deposit color.

I don't know if that will help but that's the only idea I have. :( Good luck!

I spent the morning in my whole food store 'Sprouts' each colouring had that in it , I was astounded , so maybe I will have to use the internet to see if there is an outlet I can find of colorants  up there with out the stuff .thanks anyway .. .

What about checking out a beauty supply store instead, where stylists go to get their colors and products from?  Most of the time they are a lot cheaper than the drug store brands as well.

  There is an old stand by temporary color called Fanci-Full. It has none of the ingredient  you mentioned. It will not lighten hair but it will color over the grey. I have natural blonde hair that needs to be toned so I use the #56 Bashful Blonde-hope it helps

There's hemp hair color. It only comes in browns and red though :)

hahah aheart I dont know if I have any grey I havent looked in years LOL  but I have managed to find that 'loving care ' I am going to use it this week I will also take a look at the one you mention ,thanks a lot
