Hot Rollers?

I was wondering if anyone here uses Hot Rollers.

I'm interested in knowing what you guys think are the best and what ones work for you.

They are pretty much all alike, but pick one with a clip on cover instead of those wire thingees! If you have long hair make sure u use the biggest ones so you hair is not too curly. I like to put them in, leave 5 minutes then transfer the curl onto a large velcro roller so I can use the big ones again on the bottom. There seem to never be enuff big ones so that is a little trick I learned a long time ago. Even if you use the smaller ones and transfer onto a large velcro after 5 minutes works well too. I am so glad to see that straight stuff and frizzy hair make an exit. It will be nice to see shiny sexy hair for a change.

Ok thanks, but I heard some were better than others. Like apparently some people like Caruso and some people hate it.

Should I try a instyler rather than a hot roller set? I want to try new things..

I prefer the old fashioned hot rollers. All the newer stuff is just spin off of the original. But whatever works best for an individual. You can experiment with them and make up your own mind. I have wavy hair and have found if I put it on velcro rollers, apply a shower cap when I shower and leave it on till I finish my makeup, that is just enuff time to make it look great when I take the rollers out.

Oh wow I wish my hair responded like that.. I guess you really do have to experiment... My sister-in-law tried every setting lotion there was to try and get her curls to stay after using rollers but nothing worked. She randomly tried using a little vaseline and it works. lol Crazy huh..

But anyways thanks for the advice. I'm waiting for my set of Rag Rollers to come in the mail and I'm excited to see how they'll work - hopefully they do.

lol I never heard of the vaseline trick, interesting. I know some people who used to use beer! The smell evaporates I hear! lol  Good luck with your rollers, let me know how they work!
