Irratation around the lips and constantly chapped

I am 14 years old and my lips are constantly chapped. I apply chapstick/lip gloss literally all day; once the chapstick is getting dry, i apply more but even though my lips still get very very chapped. Now i have like some kind of rash around my lips. It's pretty sensitive when i touch it too but it doesnt itch, only occasionally. A skin specialist saw this in the summer and prescribed me a mild steroid to apply but it doesnt do anything. I've had this for a year in a half now so i just want it to go away. How can i cure this?

I would bet that you are either licking you lips or chewing on them when you are outside. Unconsciously. Be more aware and try not to do that and use a little vaseline on your mouth when you go to bed and c if that dont help.

And try using Aveeno Intense Relief Therapy Lip Balm. I love it.

My lips get really dry in the winter and my boyfriend introduced me to this one he uses and I've fallen in love with this lip balm. I use nothing else and it's nice.

Aquafina lip care is good too. but nothing like Aveeno.
