Whats the best

Would you know the best hypoallergenic shampoo to get, I didnt do well with my last one it caused irritation, it was the Tea Tree oil one .maybe too strong it smelt like it was. I get very dry itchy scalp at times .any ideas .

There is no defined methodology to test for allergic reactions in beauty or personal care products, nor does the FDA regulate use of the term "hypoallergenic." But you can try using some all natural products. I use Burt Bee's shampoo and it's pretty good. It doesn't contain sulfates so that's why I tried it.  You can try Organix nourishing Coconut Milk or whatever scent you like. The brand is Organix. There are plenty of natural shampoos out there you can try but those two just happen to be my favourite all natural ones.

I will try them, I have never known what causes it to be so dry, as I do use conditioner, the sun doesnt help of course,I have always thought that it breaks out when I use a reg shampoo so I must be allergic to it..

Sulfates usually cause hair to get dry so look for anything that contains Sodium laureth sulfate and stay away from them. I usually look for shampoos that say Sulfate free.

Sulfates can cause hair to thin prematurely too. So sulfate free shampoos are the best.

I have changed the shampoo to a neutogena one now thanks for the ideas ..
