Who can help stop this madness!?

hi, I'm almost 15 and I have acne, I swear i've tried everything but nothing seems to work, this ruins my confidence and I just want to hide! What can I do?!

hi there, I know the stress you are going through. I used to have the same problem except it was all over my arms and back. Over the counter creams and oils do not work. In order to get rid of any type of fungal or bacterial infection such as acne, you must go straight to the source, which is an acne antibiotic pill. I took it for a few months and never had problems with it since. Over time also when you get older, you'll be less likely to break out if you treat it internally. Please talk to your dermatologist, but definitely AVOID the prescription Accutane. There are other medicines out there that due not cause severe reactions like suicidal thoughts.
Please talk to your Derm about treatment options.

do you drink a lot of water? my soon like soda and young kids love soda, you need only juice, drink tea, and use natural sugar...if you have oily skin try to keep a small bottle with some alcohol and cotton balls with you to keep your face less oily..if you use too many product on your face that wouldnt work..to much chemicles...eat yougert too..and bannanas..kids sometime forget how important your diet is and keep your hands out your face always wash them, and keep your fingers out your mouth..those little things makes a big difference...and because of it my sons face is clear now and stop being stressed out ..drink tea when you are...

I never had a problem with acne until last year, and I'm now 30, so it came as a bit of a shock! I tried antibiotics, special skin routines, dietary changes, everything, and in the end the only thing that cleared it up was going back onto birth control pills. I'd been taking them since I was 16, but split with my long-term partner and figured I didn't need them any longer as I wasn't planning on any more relationships for a while.
Acne can be caused by an over-production of testosterone, and being on BC controls that, hence the reason it works. My skin almost completely cleared up within 6wks of going back on them.
Obviously, a good skin-care routine and healthy diet will help avoid break-outs caused by clogged pores or poor nutrition, but addressing the hormone imbalance works on such a key level.

Hi ive had spots acne for years, not so bad recently..i used to get rashes as well near my nose,until i started using clean and clear oil free cream wash..not the senseitive one...by johnson & johnson...ive tried so many different things to improve my face.this cream wash was the only one that really helped..it about 3 pounds..but worth it.,looks nice and clean now.. use morning and night...sometimes my chin breaks out in a few spots,if this happens i use the wash everywhere apart from the chin area..and spots soon go away..hope this helps you to...but every one different ...jane

thank you so much for the help! I've been drinking more water and stressing less. I was recently put on birth control and it messed things up and I broke out pretty bad. I heard if you get some sun it helps clear
up your face so I go out more and it seems to help a little bit. I also have oily skin but I don't wanna use a lot of face products because I use face pads(2% salicylic acid) and this cream(nuetrogena rapid clear its also salicylic acid and oil free) but I still get an oily face.

EVERYONE USE ZENMED SUPPORT SERUM!!!! They also have other products that help greatly with acne. My Fiancée has been using this for a long time now and it has worked wonders for him. I highly recommend this to anyone out there!

Im sixteen, and I completely understand where you're coming from. Neutrogena is a great line, and really helps me as I also have oily skin. For spot treatments, I find rubbing alcohol works, because it dries out the area. Toothpaste works for some people too. Recently, I read online that hydrogen peroxide works as well.

Tea tree oil and witch hazel
