Using casor oil before going to bed at night works. If that is too messy, try BOBBI BROWN Hydrating Eye cream. You can get it online. A littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys pricey yes, but is good.
yuk castor oil..okay I will try it I even heard that' preperation H 'was good for lines....I hate castor oil as they used to give it to you when you went overdue with the Baby each day 2 big spoonfuls.to induce it, ..yuk at least I only put it on my faceFace pain then...
I've never tried castor oil but I use coconut oil to remove makeup. Preparation H cream is good for undereye puffiness. It temporarily shrinks tissue.
AHAs, retinoids and vitamin C are the least expensive and easiest ingredients to looks for. Retinoids at night, C serums/creams during the day. C also boosts the effectiveness of sunscreen.
Avene has a product with hyaluronic acid and retinaldehyde - and the line was developed for sensitive skin. You can find this at CVS stores or derms.
Vitamin C - I make my own vitamin C serum. Ingredients are cheap and found at health food stores. It oxidizes quickly but I can easily make enough for one week at a time. 1/2 t. L ascorbic acid powder + 1/2 t glycerin + 3t water.
Copper peptides are also said to be effective but they don't seem to work for me.
There are also a couple of websites where you can purchase kits to make your own versions of high end creams like Creme de la Mer.
I get easily swayed by the marketing - but when you check out the products from brands like Obagi, you'll realize that it's basically cleanser, moisturizer, exfoliant and sunscreen.
Wow you guys are brilliant I have made copious notes, I got the caster oil yuk took me back a few years I actually retched when I poured some out, never the less if it works I will retch happily away, no I didnt drink it, I dabbed it around my eyes Lol I have googled it and am not certain what is the best to use, that is why I came here as I know we are our own guinea pigs..MW you make your own, maybe I will have a go...ascorbic acid powder, thats Vit C,+glycerine and water.
How old are you? The only product I've ever used to help erase fine lines and to soften deeper lines is prescrption Retin-A or Renova. It's one of the only products proven by science to increase collagen production. It takes a few months to see a major change but it really works. Nothing can completly get rid of all your lines other than Botox or injectable fillers. The only topical that really works is Retin-A for oilier skin types or Renova for dryer skin types. My skin has improved greatly since I started using Renova 6 years ago. It does take time to get used to it because it can be drying and irrtating to the skin. You must start slow using it maybe twice a week to start with and only at night. Then you slowly build up your tolerance to it. You will probably experience a bit of flaking skin and that's normal. That will go away the longer you use it. You also must wear a sunscreen during the day since it will make your skin more senstive to the sun.
The best skincare regemin you can use is a good antioxidant product in the morning along with a moisturizer and sunscreen, and at night, Retin-A or Renova and a moisturizer if you need one.
I used to get my Renova from my dermatologist but now I buy it without a prescription forma pharmacy in either Mexico or India. It's alot cheaper in these countries and you don't need a prescription.
