first time waxing. *help*

alrighty. i have a question and would really like some advice before i do what i am going to do. i bought a waxing kit so that i can wax my legs/underarms/bikini. and i need some advice for it being my first time ever doing it *note*:i have never had anything but eyebrows waxed*.  so, is it safe/smart to wax my bikini by myself w/out a professional doing it for me? what side effects could happen? i am not nervous about doing my legs or underarms because i think i can handle that pain. anyways please help me!

no way. i say totally get it done professionally, at least the first time, and especially for the bikini area. you really have to know what youre doing to do a bikini wax on yourself. the lady who i go to for my bikini wax, who is a professional, and also is really good at what she does, says she would never do her own bikini area; she does everything else on her own body herself.
