help, what can i do

by cuxiu07, Jun 10, 2009 05:42AM
After I have my eyebrows, upper & lower lip waxed, my face turns red and welts appear.  It looks like my face was attacked by mosquitos or ants.  A lot of little bumps appear and they itch.  It never happen to me before.  Is this an allergic reaction? What can be done, if anything, to alleviate this from happening? Thanks!

It's probably, like you said, an allergic reaction to waxing. Those are very sensitive areas, so you have to be really careful. To stop it from happening, you could try plucking your hair or maybe even shaving. Or, like margypops said, you could try a different make or product. Good luck!
