i would avoid trauma to the body while pregnant. You want to be eating three good meals a day and if your tongue is swollen and all you can have is ice cubes for a day or two i would think that wouldn't be great for baby. plus risk of infection added in there i would say hold off until you are done breast feeding. but that is just my opinion. if you're gonna do it, be safe. : )

Noway!

Tongue piercings are of high infection risk!

and you need to eat well anyway!

you can have it next year!

Third that, wait on it. Huge risk of infection and that could kill the baby (and you). Also, I don't think any respectable tattoo or piercer would knowingly agree to give a pregnant woman a tongue piercing. When you do decide to have it done, make sure you get it done at a good place. Otherwise you're risking all sorts of nasty infections, some of which are deadly.

First and foremost, if you are going to a crediable piercer, they will not pierce and pregnant women.  not for infection, but in case you faint and pass out.  You should not get anything done to your body until the baby has arrived.
