my hair is falling from roots

Hi. Today I've washed my hair, dried it and few hours later went through my hair with my fingers saw that i have patches where my hair just brakes as if is burned, 2-3 cm from my scalp skin. It scared me! Help me! I need an idea about what could be...or reasons...anything! Thank you!

Have you been bleaching the hair or using flattening irons or curling irons a lot?

Hi there. Did any of the following recently happen to you:

-starting feeling very tired for no apparent reason?
-started any new medication?
-recently had a baby or stopped breastfeeding?
-started a crash diet (malnutrition will impact hair and fingernails),

Other things to think of: being tested for anemia. Though it is often considered a myth by the medical community, I have been anemic most of my adult life and when it is out of control, my hair falls out in droves.

annie, i havent used in excces the straightening iron, just from time to time and i havent bleached my hair at all :(
I'm trying as less possible to use them cuz i know the effects...

Hi Jena.
I am feeling tired lately cuz of my work and not too much time left to eat as usual... but that's not unusual for me, I have times and time. Nothing else from the listed things, no babies, no medication...
Anemia i remember i has as a child, but i am thinking to go and check with the doctors.
My nails are ok although.
It looks that just that day i had my hair "falling as burned" for no reason, but is visible. patches on both sides of my head and at the back, can't leave my hair down, just keep it up :( I hope it doesnt happen again.
Now i need to cut the burned ends cuz my hair is black and is very visible.
