i have no idea if wearing lace wigs would harm myself.
as more people are wearing lace wigs,it is not strange for me to ask this question.
for a short time, i do not feel uncomfortable.
but i do not know if in a long run,will this be ok?

It depends upon how its worn. If you glue down the edges of the wig consistently for many years you could end up with hair loss at the front of your head. It's called "traction alopecia," a condition that stems from years of wearing tight braids and extensions.

Plenty of people wear wigs but don't glue down the front and just use the drawstrings on the back to keep it on.

A few celebrities have his problem. Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks. Just research and find out everything you can on wigs...

There are human hair wigs available - called remy hair.

It all depends on how you choose to wear the wig. If you glue it down or tape it, you will over time get hair loss little by little. If you just get wigs with a drawstring you won't get hair loss because it isn't pulling on your actual hair. If you buy a wig with bangs at the front you won't have to worry about it looking fake.

Go talk to someone at a wig shop and they can show/teach you about everything wig.

yeah i have googled some places... i was interested in Bloomsbury of London becuase when i called they seemed really into the fact that their wigs are ethically sourced. they have much better reviews than Lucinda Ellery too - have you heard of it?

I think a doctor can say it better.I think if a wig is attached with head then it will be harmful.

Lucinda Ellery is human hair extensions where as Bloomssbury of London is full wigs. Those names look kinda expensive but look into it - learn and see how good the quality is that it won't look fake on your head. If the hair is extensions it won't look fake because it's your hair with longer added pieces hidden from your own hair roots. There are different kinda of hair extensions too, if you want clip in ones, they'll be less expensive and you'll be able to remove and add them whenever you want. It's really just looking around and learning as much as possible and knowing what you want.
