split ends

Hi everyone, I was just wondering, is there anyway to get rid of split ends. I have tried many different products and I have even cut my hair really short, and it grew back with split ends again. I do flat iron my hair once in a while and I do not use hot curlers or dryers. Any suggestions? thanks

you're hair looks alot like mine.... i've been fighting with split ends for EVER.
Frizz Ease, which you can find in a pharmacy (it's a serum) seems to work really well at keeping the hair hydrated (which i think causes split ends).
Anyway, it helps me control my CCCRAZY hair.... it's the best darn product i have ever used. I just apply a small amount when my hair is wet and VOILA! it is tammed! =)

already split ones must be cut off immediately or they will continue to split even worse....to prevent: stop dying and damaging hair with tool like blowdryers and straighteners...use only if u must...i will just do my front (hairs around face) when i am not doing anything special and let the rest airdry...also try using a leave in conditioner overnight...i love the "jonathan spray oli for overnight" get it at sephora...makes your hair really shiny...also make sure u are using a quality shampoo and cond. try frederic fekkai the green one, it has olive oil in it which is natural hair stregthener...ok.  good luck!
