doesn't that make u feel real proud? You have looked after these little fellas and now are finding them homes, you should give yourself a big pat on the back!!
Did it help you feel less stress when caring for these little ones?
How is the klonopin working for you? (not familiar with this drug is it an anti-anxiety?)
saw your other posts on disability and parking issues....Here in Canada you are still able to get special license plates even if you have a NON VISIBLE disability, just need the doctor to sign a form for you...here the forms are avail thru the licensing dept. or agency that you deal with.
take care
Just wanted to let you know that we found a home for two of the kittens! Only three more to go. Runt is eating solid food now instead of milk!
Thank you for your kind comments. The kittens are now eating every six hours. We started them on canned food today. All but the runt ate it. Hopefully the runt will learn from his brothers and sisters.
I had another stressor today. I went grocery shopping. I do okay while I'm there and then have a breakdown afterwards.
My husband said I have been really grouchy today too. Maybe it's the lack of sleep (lol)?
Any more ideas about dealing with stressors?
Thanks.
I agree, you just have to get up and keep going every day as best you can. I say the serenity prayer a lot. It is the most true prayer I have found. It really applies to everyone. There is so much in this life we can't control. So, we just have to keep going doing the best with what we have.
Good luck with your new kittens!
just bless you for giving these babies a chance! and I hope in so doing they will also bring you some healing.
I have lived with stress daily for over 20 years, with at times months of respite in between another crisis..........you just keep putting one step in front of the other and getting up in the morning, I know thats an over simplified version. Just do whatever it takes to get yourself through each day and each situation, medication, therapy, friends and pets have all worked in some small way for me. My pets give me a reason to get up each morning...there have been times it would have been easier to give up except for the reality of what would happen to these little guys without me....
hang in there...
