Another Way?

Be very careful on the meds.  I was on them after being told I was schizophrenic.  I took myself off them and ten years later I am a manager in a happy relationship living away from home.

Meds like stelazene, olanzapine, risperidone (australia - do you guys have these in the US?) can have lifethreatening, lifechanging consequences.  I was experiencing sideeffects that you only get after years and years - the docs were bewildered - things like lactation - at 18 yrs old! And no I wasn't pregnant!

Has anyone heard of tardive akathisia?  It is a permanent disabling illness - Dr Peter Breggan has written extensively about it.  Worth taking a look at as much info as you can before you progress onto meds.
