BP and fatigue

Does anybody else find that they have bouts of severe fatigue with BP?  Unless I am on an upswing I find that I can be anything from tired to completely exhausted.  Yesterday for instance, although I was tired at first my energy levels increased well through the day and I ended the day on a "happy tired".

Today, I have been completely exhausted, wiped out.

I would just be interested to hear what others experiences are.

Does anyone think i may have Bipolar?
When I try and go to sleep the night before work, I am awake hours before finally falling asleep. A couple of weeks ago I feel the same as i do now, really tired, just wanting to sleep, i feel faint and am not bothered about food much, which is unusual for me cuz I love eating! I have awful mood swings and get very emotional. Im not lazy, I just want to know why I keep feeling like I do.
I went to the doctors last month because I was also being sick, he thought I may be pregnant but the test came back negative. Although I had an unusual period this month.

Im confused and need some advice please!

Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences with me.

I slept well again and would have happily had an extra hour or two this morning if circumstances had permitted.

I don't have the exhaustion level thank goodness, hopefully a couple of semi-normal days ahead.

I'm not sure whats worse, the sleepless mania where your body is tired and your mind is racing on or the fatigue!

Thinking of you all, :-)

I went for two weeks with hardly no sleep. I lay in bed with eyes wide open. Go to sleep at 4 or 5am and up at 9. Did not want to do anything. Three days ago I basically dropped from exhaustion. I have been sleeping almost all day, only up for a few minutes, then back to bed, and sleep all night with no problem. Slept for most of today. I couldn't sit down without falling asleep. Thought by today I would have caught up, but hopefully tomorrow, I will. I get extremely tired. I have had that problem for years. I used to tell my dr's I was overly tired, before I was diagnosed bp. They never paid any attention to what I was saying. I knew something was wrong. Now when I feel like that I know.  RJ

Join the club, this week has been a rollercoaster of mania and depression. I always get fatigue after mania - been sitting here in the evenings trying to stay awak and then no sleeping properly - mind you I am between jobs (new one starts in a week) so I have not got the stress and noise and constant on the go around me which I guess helps feed my energy.

Feel for you.

I am so wiped out after a manic episode. It depends on long tha manic lasts for me but I ussually crash hard. It is like the manic sucked up everything leaving me with nothing left.
I still have mini manics around the full moons time. Nothing like they used to be before zyprexa/celexa.
